Paolo Banfi graduated with high distinction in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Milan. He began dealing with Intellectual Property in 1996 after several years in biochemical research, quickly gaining in-depth know how across all aspects of the industrial property sector.
He primarily deals with drafting, filing and prosecuting Italian and foreign patent applications; patentability and FTO searches; patentability and non-infringement opinions; opposition and appeals before the European Patent Office; patent litigation as court technical advisor or as party technical advisor.
For several years he held a preparatory course for patent consultants and is currently a lecturer in the Industrial Property Management course at the University of Milan. Paolo also conducts workshops for TCBM clients.
