Marco Cassinelli
PATENT ATTORNEY TRAINEE
A Materials Physics graduate of Bologna University, Marco obtained a PhD in Materials Engineering from the Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. Returning to Italy in 2017, he worked at the Institute of Technology of Milan’s Polytechnic University, researching energy systems using organic and inorganic materials.
In 2022, Marco began working in the IP sector, supporting our office attorneys by drafting, filing and prosecuting national and foreign patent applications and by conducting prior art searches, and investigating patentability, technical-legal validity and infringement issues.
Marco’s in-depth knowledge of the mechanical, electronic, and mechatronic engineering and IT sectors, gained as an academic and scientific researcher, enables him to provide vital support to inventors wishing to obtain patent protection.
Marco is enrolled as a patent attorney trainee with the Italian Patent Attorney Registry.
