Silvia Bertuccio graduated with high distinction in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Milan with an experimental dissertation on patents.
Her career as an IP consultant began in 2005 with a leading patent firm located in Milan.
She handles the drafting of Italian and foreign patent applications and related examination procedures before the competent offices; prior art searches and drafting of patentability, FTO and infringement opinions; she assists clients as technical expert in patent infringement and/or invalidity proceedings.
Silvia’s expertise encompasses the filing, prosecution and litigation of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs) and relevant paediatric extensions.
She is currently a coordinator and a lecturer in the advanced Industrial Property Management course at the University of Milan. Silvia also conducts workshops for TCBM clients.
